Blackthorn Cottage is in Falmouth. It's a two-bedroom single-storey barn conversion, so no stairs inside, which is useful.
It sleeps five and has two bathrooms. That's handy for a family. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and looked-after. You can bring one dog.
The barn has high ceilings and wooden floors. It's on one level with a garden that's enclosed. Parking is on site.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included, and there's WiFi and a TV.
You're a couple of miles from the main Falmouth shops and pubs, but there's a restaurant about a mile away. The coast path is close. Gyllyngvase beach is the main one nearby.
From Falmouth, you can get a passenger ferry across to St Mawes or up the river. The town has a cinema, a theatre, and the National Maritime Museum at Events Square.
For gardens, Trebah and Glendurgan are local. Pendennis Castle is in Falmouth, and you can see St Mawes Castle opposite.
If you drive, the Lizard peninsula is about half an hour south. The north coast, for surfing, is about 40 minutes.
