South Cottage
South Cottage is in St Mawes, on Marine Parade. It's a small, actual Cornish cottage. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the harbour and the bay.
It sleeps two adults and one child under twelve. The bunk bedroom is small, really only suitable for a child. The living space is compact too. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and in good order, but not modernised throughout.
You're right on the sea wall. The steps down to the foreshore are opposite. Summers Beach and the Tavern Beach are a few minutes' walk along the front. Everything in the village - shops, the pub, the ferry - is easy to reach on foot.
Inside, there's a living room with a two-seater sofa and an armchair. The electric fire is coal-effect. The kitchen has what you need, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's a small downstairs toilet. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king-size bed and that same harbour view. The bathroom is upstairs as well.
Facilities are included: wifi, TV, all bedding and towels, and a highchair if you need it. Parking isn't at the cottage, but there's a public car park a short walk away.
For things to do, you can get the passenger ferry over to Falmouth. The National Trust has several nearby places like the Trelissick Garden. The Cornwall AONB site has good information about the local coast and paths.
