Bay View is our cottage in Portscatho. It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one has a shower over the bath, the other is just a shower room downstairs.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, with decent space. The living room has a wood burner if you want it, and French doors that open onto a patio. You can see the sea from upstairs.
The stairs are normal house stairs. The bunk room is a bit tight, but it's a bunk room. It's fine.
Portscatho itself is a small village. There's a pub, a shop, a deli, and a place that does coffee. It's quiet. The beach, Porthcurnick, is about a five minute walk down the lane. That's where the Hidden Hut cafe is, which does good food.
You're right on the coast path here, so the walking is excellent. St Mawes is about ten minutes drive, for the castle and the ferries. You can get the ferry across to Falmouth from there.
Further afield, you've got the Lost Gardens of Heligan in about half an hour, and The Eden Project is maybe forty minutes drive. Truro is the closest city for bigger shops.
As for what's there: it has a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the drive. No pets, sorry.
