Moonrakers is in Ruan Lanihorne, a quiet village near the River Fal. It's a bungalow, attached to my house. You get your own front garden and a decked terrace.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and everything works. The main room is open plan with French doors out to the terrace. There's a wall-mounted electric fire for extra warmth.
The award-winning village pub is about a hundred yards away. A proper Cornish pub. The nearest shop is in Probus, about two and a half miles. You'll need a car.
The Roseland coast is close. Pendower beach is about four miles, maybe a ten minute drive. The coastal path is just over three miles away for good walks. For a different day, St Mawes is a short drive. You can get the pedestrian ferry from there over to Falmouth. The King Harry car ferry is handy too, it cuts out driving round.
You're near the National Trust places in Cornwall like Trelissick Garden. The Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has more local walk ideas. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within half an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking right outside, and a BBQ in the garden. No pets, sorry.
