Grain Store 1

Grain Store 1 is in East Portholland on the Roseland Peninsula. It's a single-storey barn conversion, one of two next to each other. You get your own garden. It faces south so it gets the sun.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's all on one level, there are no stairs to worry about.

The garden has a little sheltered den with a day bed in it. Good for a nap if the sun's out. With no street lights around here, the night sky is very clear on a good night.

You're about three quarters of a mile from the beach at Portholland. It's a small, quiet cove. The local shop and the nearest pub are about four miles away in St Ewe or Tregony. Both are dog-friendly.

For a bigger day out, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about a 25 minute drive. The Eden Project is roughly half an hour away. If you head towards St Austell, Charlestown is worth a look. It's an old harbour and they sometimes have tall ships there.

The whole Roseland area is good for walking. The coastal path is right there. You can walk from the cottage to the beach along the lane.

What's here: a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
