So this is Lower Stables, in Polmassick, which is near Tregony. It's a ground floor barn conversion. There's a family that lives in the flat above permanently, so you'll hear them. Just so you know.
It's got a 4 Star rating. Sleeps five, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's one double, one twin and a single. It's got that sort of cottage look, lots of beams and a tiled floor. The main room is open plan, so kitchen, dining and sitting area is all one space. The kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker which is good.
The garden is south-facing and gets the sun all day. It's enclosed. You can park right there.
A couple of things. It's ground floor and the entrance is step-free, but the bathroom isn't specifically adapted, so it might suit someone with limited mobility but it's not a full accessible property. And because it's a conversion, the ceiling is the old barn floor for the flat above, so you do hear the family living their life up there. Normal stuff.
It's in a quiet spot, feels quite rural. Tregony village is close, that's got shops and a pub. The coast is about four or five miles away. Pendower beach is good for sand.
Lots to see around here. The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are maybe half an hour's drive. Truro is about the same. You're right on the edge of the Roseland peninsula, so St Mawes is nearby for boats and ferries. There are some good walks locally, like through Lamorran Woods.
Facilities wise: it's got WiFi, a TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. There's a cot and high chair if needed.
A couple of links if you're looking into walks or things to do: National Trust Cornwall and for the local area, the Roseland Peninsula information site is quite useful.
