Seaview

This is Seaview. It's in Gorran Haven, Cornwall. It's a cottage built in the 1800s, one of four that were made from two old houses.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's bright and clean. The views are the main thing. You can see the sea from the front windows and the living room.

The beach is sandy and it's just down some steps from the cottage. Not even a five minute walk. The South West Coast Path runs right past it if you want a proper walk.

There's a shared courtyard round the back with a big outhouse. You can store bikes, surfboards, wetsuits in there. There's also an outdoor tap for rinsing off sandy things.

Inside, there's a living room looking out to sea, a separate kitchen with a table, and two good sized bedrooms. One has a king size bed, the other has two singles. There's a small porch with a seat outside the front door, and a raised seating area up some steps. Both have that sea view.

The village has what you need. There's a shop that's also the post office and a bakery. They do hot food. There's a fish and chip shop, a couple of cafes, and a beach shop. Most are open in the season. There's a public car park about 300 yards away.

For things to do, Mevagissey harbour is about ten minutes by car. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are maybe 15 minutes away. The Eden Project is about half an hour. Charlestown and its ships are a similar drive. You're well placed for a lot.

Facilities: bedding is included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and two smart TVs. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
