Tranquility is a cottage in Mevagissey. It's right above the harbour. You can see the boats from the front windows.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms but they're on the smaller side, so it suits two adults and two kids, or four adults who don't mind being cosy. It's got a 4 Star rating. One bathroom with a shower. The stairs are steep, typical for an old harbour cottage.
You're on the South West Coast Path literally at the end of the street. Turn left or right and you're walking. The beach in the village is a proper sandy one, good for kids. For bigger beaches you'd drive a bit.
The village shops, pubs, and places to eat are about a two minute walk down the hill. It's a working fishing harbour, so it can be lively and it smells of the sea. If you want quiet, you're better off in the cottage or up on the path.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a five minute drive. The Eden Project is about twenty minutes by car. There's an off-road cycle trail that goes there from nearby.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
For planning walks and trips, National Trust Cornwall and the South West Coast Path Association sites are useful.
