Two Chi An Mor

The place is called Two Chi An Mor, it's in Carlyon Bay. It's an apartment on the ground floor of a modern development, about a ten minute walk from the beach.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. Two are doubles, one with an en-suite shower room. The third room has bunk beds, so that's best for kids. There's a second shower room as well. Everything is new and clean. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped.

The main room opens out onto a private, covered terrace. You get a good view of the sea from there. The doors open right back so it feels like one space when the weather's good. Inside, there's a proper kitchen with a dishwasher and one of those instant boiling water taps.

The terrace is enclosed and there's parking right outside. It's also wheelchair accessible from the car park to the front door and throughout the apartment.

For the area, Carlyon Bay itself is a good beach for a walk or a swim. Charlestown harbour is a short drive north, maybe five minutes. It's got nice pubs and the Shipwreck Museum. St Austell town is about the same distance the other way for supermarkets.

If you want a day out, the Eden Project is less than ten minutes away by car. Mevagissey is a 15 minute drive, and Fowey is about 25 minutes. You're well-placed for the south coast.

Facilities: everything's included like bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, WiFi, a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's also an electric vehicle charger in the car park.

For planning, the National Trust for Cornwall and Cornwall Council's heritage sites page are useful.
