Bunker is a ground floor flat in Carlyon Bay. It's called Bunker because it's built into the hillside, so the back wall is basically rock. It sleeps three. One bedroom with a double bed, and a single sofa bed in the living area. One bathroom with a shower.
It's a 3 Star place. Everything works, it's clean and dry, but it's not fancy. The patio looks out over the fields towards the coast. You can hear the sea when it's rough.
You're about a ten minute walk down the hill to Carlyon Bay beach. It's a big stretch of sand. The path is steep coming back up, just so you know. There's a golf course at the Carlyon Bay Hotel, and you can use their spa for a fee.
Charlestown is the nearest proper village, about a mile and a half away. It's got pubs, a couple of restaurants, and the tall ships in the harbour are good to look at. The beach at Porthpean is also close, maybe a fifteen minute walk.
You can drive to the Eden Project in about twenty minutes. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about half an hour. St Austell station is five minutes in the car if you want to get the train somewhere and not worry about parking.
Facilities: There's parking right outside. WiFi. TV. A washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in the bedroom if you need one. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
