The Wagon House

It's a good spot for walking. Prideaux Wood is just a stroll away. The Saints' Way footpath goes through there, all the way from Fowey to Padstow. The valley itself is nice for a walk, with old paths and a big viaduct.
Fowey is about five miles away. It's a proper harbour town with pubs, restaurants, and shops. You can get boat trips from there. The coast path is accessible from several points nearby.
Within a half hour drive you've got the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the beach at Par Sands. Mevagissey harbour is about seven miles. Truro is roughly twelve miles for bigger shops.
