Tristan's
Tristan's is an apartment on the first floor of Lanwithan Manor, just outside Lostwithiel. It's one of two apartments in the south wing. You're welcome to walk around the gardens and grounds of the manor, which are big and have some old trees. There's a wallaby in the garden, so we can't take dogs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The kitchen is a good size, more farmhouse than modern. The living room looks out over the grounds towards the River Fowey.
You can walk into Lostwithiel in about five minutes. It's a small town by the river. There's a pub about half a mile away. For a beach, you're looking at a drive, about seven miles to the coast.
There's a lot of history around here. Restormel Castle is close by. Lanhydrock House, which is National Trust, is about a ten minute drive and has big gardens. Bodmin Moor is within half an hour if you want proper walking.
For facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site.
