Holly
This is Holly. It's one of a group of cottages on a farm just outside Trecangate, down a long private lane. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. It's got two bedrooms and sleeps five. There's one bathroom. The stairs are steep and narrow, like they are in a lot of old cottages here.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed so they can't wander off. There's parking right outside.
You're on a working farm, so there are animals. They feed the goats and chickens most days and you can go and watch. The setting is peaceful, with views over fields. Sometimes you see deer. There's a tennis court and an indoor games room on site, and a play area for kids.
The closest village with a shop and a pub is about two and a half miles away. For a beach, Talland Bay is the nearest, about a twenty minute drive. It's a nice cove with rock pools. Looe is a bit further, that's a proper sandy beach.
If you want to go out for the day, you're in a good spot. The National Trust has a lot of properties nearby. The Eden Project is about half an hour's drive. Fowey is a lovely little town on the river, also about half an hour. You can get to the north coast, to places like Padstow and Polzeath, in around forty minutes.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding is included, and we can provide a cot and a highchair.
