Penny's Cottage
Penny's Cottage is one of a few on our little site here in Trenewan. It's a single storey place, so no stairs at all. That's useful for some.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which I think is fair. It's clean and tidy and well looked after. We allow up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which people with dogs tend to like.
It's quiet out here. You've got fields on one side. The site itself has a bit of a play area for kids and some garden games. The cottage has its own patio with a table.
For getting about, you're in a good spot. Looe is about ten minutes drive. It's a proper working harbour. Polperro is a bit further, maybe fifteen minutes. It's the classic Cornish fishing village, very pretty but can get busy. Fowey is lovely, about twenty minutes away. You can get the ferry across to Polruan from there.
If you want a big day out, The Eden Project is less than half an hour's drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are about the same. For a walk on the coast, the South West Coast Path is easily reached. The nearest beach for a proper swim is probably at Looe, or you can try Downderry which is a bit further along.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a TV, and the Wi-Fi works fine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside the cottage.
