Riverview is a detached house on the hill above Fowey. The name is accurate, you can see the river from the front. It's about a fifteen minute walk down into the town centre. The walk back up is steep. You get used to it.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. There's a garden at the front and the back. The back one is enclosed. Parking is on the drive.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, all that. Bedding and towels are included.
Fowey itself is a proper harbour town. Lots of boats, good pubs, places to eat. You can wander down to the town quay and watch what's coming in. The South West Coast Path runs right through if you like walking. The nearest beach is Readymoney Cove, which is sandy but small. Better beaches like Polridmouth or Lantic Bay are a short drive away.
If you want to go further, the Eden Project is about twenty minutes by car. Truro is half an hour. The National Trust has a lot of houses and coastline down here, like Lanhydrock or the Dodman.
No pets, sorry.
