This is Granny's Cottage. It's near Lostwithiel in Cornwall. The cottage is detached, so no one's attached to you. It's on the Lanwithan Estate, which is basically a big bit of land with fields and trees. You're welcome to walk around it.
It sleeps four upstairs. Two bedrooms. One has a four poster bed, the other has two singles. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
Inside, you've got a woodburning stove for when it gets chilly. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All the bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
Outside, there's a private patio and garden area for the cottage. You park right there on site.
The location is quiet but not remote. Lostwithiel town is a couple of minutes' drive away. There's a pub about half a mile walk. A shop and a restaurant are about a mile.
You're about seven miles from the coast. Polkerris and Par Sands are good family beaches nearby. For a bigger day out, Fowey is close by for boats and shops, and Charlestown is worth a visit for the tall ships. The Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive.
The owners live in the manor house on the estate. They're around if you need anything, but they leave you to it.
