Granny's Cottage
This is Granny's Cottage, down on the Lanwithan Estate just outside Lostwithiel. It's a little detached place. We sometimes rent out the bigger Farmhouse next door as well.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The master bedroom has a four-poster bed, if that's your sort of thing. The main room has a woodburning stove.
It's a quiet spot. You can walk around the estate grounds here, down towards the river. The owners live in the main house if you need anything. Lostwithiel town is about a mile away. Good for a wander, few antique shops and that. The local pub is half a mile up the road.
The coast is about a 15 minute drive. Fowey is that way too, which is nice for a poke about. The Eden Project's about 20 minutes by car. If you like walking, the South West Coast Path is easily reached. Bodmin Moor is about half an hour inland for a different view.
Inside, you've got the usual. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. Parking is right there.
