Dairy Cottage is our barn conversion, next to our house. It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. It's warm and gets the sun. Outside, there's a decked area for sitting out. The view from there is over fields, proper countryside. You're welcome to use the barbecue.
The property is all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
We're here, in the main house, if you need anything. But otherwise, the place is yours.
You're about a mile from the nearest shop and pub. The pub serves food. Bodmin town is two miles away. You've got the shops there, and the historic jail. The Bodmin steam railway runs from there too.
For days out, you're well placed. The Camel Trail for cycling is nearby. You can hire bikes in Bodmin. Padstow and Wadebridge are along that route. Lanhydrock House, which is National Trust, is about four miles away. They've got great gardens and a cycle hire hub on site.
The Eden Project is about a 20 minute drive. Bodmin Moor starts not far from here, good for walking. The north coast with places like Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel is maybe half an hour by car. The south coast, with Looe and Polperro, is about the same.
