This is Dairy Cottage, next to our house. It's our old dairy barn converted into a place to stay. Sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. The kitchen area is in the same room as the living space. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The main bedroom is upstairs and the second bedroom is on the ground floor. There's a travel cot and a highchair if you need them.
Outside, there's a decked area with a barbecue. It looks out over the fields. Great spot for a morning coffee. You can park right outside.
It's out in the countryside, so it's quiet. You'll need a car. The nearest pub and shop are about a mile away in the village. Bodmin town is two miles from here for supermarkets and the like.
You're really central for getting around Cornwall. The north coast, places like Port Isaac and Boscastle, is about twenty minutes by car. The south coast, like Looe, is maybe half an hour. The Lanhydrock estate is very close for walks and cycling. You can hire bikes in Bodmin and get straight onto the Camel Trail.
Other places people go: the Eden Project is fifteen minutes away. Bodmin Moor is right there for walking. You can get the steam train from Bodmin. Tintagel Castle, if you don't mind the steps, is about half an hour's drive.
Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. No pets, I'm afraid.
