Rosemary Cottage is in Withielgoose, which is a hamlet just outside Bodmin. It's a converted barn, end of terrace, so you get the end garden. It's quiet here, you just get fields.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The stairs to the bedrooms are wooden and a bit steep, like most barn conversions.
The main living room is a good size. There's an open fireplace you can use. We also put in an old Atari games console, it's got a few classic games on it. The garden is enclosed, which is why we allow dogs. There's a deck and the lawn slopes a bit. We leave a box of beach gear out there, buckets and spades and bodyboards, for you to use.
You'll need a car here. The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in Bodmin. For a big supermarket, you've got Bodmin or Wadebridge.
You're in a good spot for getting around. Padstow is about 20 minutes north. Wadebridge is closer, maybe 10 minutes. Port Isaac, where they filmed Doc Martin, is about 25 minutes. The north coast beaches like Polzeath and Rock are within half an hour.
For a day out, the Eden Project is roughly 25 minutes south. The National Trust's Lanhydrock House is about 15 minutes away. If you want to walk on the moor, Bodmin Moor is right there. Cyclists might like Cardinham Woods, which is about a 20 minute drive.
For facilities: there's parking right outside. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We have a cot if you need one. The garden is fully enclosed. We allow up to three dogs.
