Cedar Lodge. It's one of the lodges at Retallack Resort, which is near Lanhainsworth in Cornwall.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It had a proper refurbishment a few years ago so it feels quite fresh and modern inside, nothing too dated. It's got that open plan living area, which is good if you're a group.
You're on a resort, so that comes with stuff. There's a pool on site, a wave machine thing for surfing, tennis, a restaurant and bar. It's handy if you've got kids or you don't want to get in the car.
The decking outside is decent. Gets the sun. There's a BBQ and a table out there.
On the practical side, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Parking right there. You can bring up to two dogs. They provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Location wise, it's set back from the coast, more in the countryside. Padstow is about a twenty-minute drive. Good for shops and restaurants. The beach at Constantine Bay is maybe twenty-five minutes. For walking, the National Trust has loads of coastal paths nearby, like at Bedruthan Steps.
If you're into golf, the resort has its own course. Newquay is about half an hour for the airport or more surf.
