This is Chynoweth. It's a bungalow in St Merryn, on the St Merryn Park holiday park. It's detached and on a quiet cul-de-sac, so it's peaceful. The whole place is on one level, which is good if you don't want stairs.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You get your own patio and a secluded garden at the back. There's a room off the living area with patio doors, it's a nice spot to sit.
The bungalow has parking right outside. Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it, and space to store bikes.
The holiday park itself has a bar, a restaurant, and a small shop. There are tennis courts you can use for free and a kids' play area. The village of St Merryn is about a mile away. It's got a few shops and some decent pubs.
You're well placed for the coast. There are seven good beaches within a few miles. Padstow is about ten minutes' drive. You can get the famous fish and chips there, or just wander the harbour. The Camel Trail starts in Padstow, it's a flat path for walking or cycling along the estuary.
Within half an hour you can get to a lot. Port Isaac, where they film Doc Martin, is about twenty minutes. Tintagel Castle, linked to King Arthur, is a similar drive. For a big day out, the Eden Project is about forty minutes. If you're a keen gardener, the Lost Gardens of Heligan are also well worth the trip.
Newquay and Fistral Beach for surfing are about twenty-five minutes south. There are local golf courses if that's your thing. Good local fishing spots too.
It's a straightforward place in a really good spot for getting out and about.
