The Lily Pad
The Lily Pad is a bungalow on St Merryn Holiday Park. It's detached. Sleeps ten, five bedrooms, two bathrooms. Everything's on one level, so no stairs. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main living area is open plan. Kitchen, dining, sitting room all together. There's a wood burner for when it's cold. The furniture is a mix of things, some of it upcycled. The dining table is big, seats everyone.
Outside there's a deck with a table, chairs, and a barbecue. There's a firepit too. The garden is enclosed. You get parking on site.
The park has a shop and a bar that does food. There are tennis courts and a play area you can use. There's also a field for walking dogs.
You're about a ten minute drive from several beaches. Harlyn Bay is good for families. Treyarnon and Porthcothan have rock pools. The coast path is right there if you want to walk.
Padstow is about four miles away. It's a fishing port, busy, lots of places to eat. Newquay is fifteen minutes in the car for surfing.
If you want a day out further afield, the Eden Project is about forty minutes. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are similar. Bodmin Moor is inland for a different view.
Facilities: wifi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to three dogs.
