Trevistas, Padstow, Cornwall

Trevistas is on the edge of Padstow. It's a terraced house. You can see a slice of the Camel Estuary from the front upstairs windows, which is nice.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works. The kitchen has what you need.

The living room has a wood burner. There's a small enclosed patio out the back with a table and a BBQ.

You can walk into Padstow in about ten minutes. It's downhill. Coming back is uphill. The harbour, shops, and all the restaurants are there. There are a few pubs closer, about 600 yards away.

The nearest beach is about a mile. It’s good for families. For surfing, you’d drive to Harlyn Bay or Constantine, which are ten to fifteen minutes away. There’s space by the house to store boards.

The Camel Trail starts in Padstow. You can hire bikes and cycle along the old railway line towards Wadebridge and Bodmin Moor. It’s mostly flat.

For a day out, St Mawes Castle is worth the ferry trip from Padstow over to Rock. The National Trust at Trevose Head has good coastal walks. The Camel Trail page has maps and cycle hire information.

Facilities: Parking for one car on the drive. Wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
