Nan-Tis
Nan-Tis is a detached cottage in Trevance, near Newquay in Cornwall. The place is old, over four hundred years they think. It's got slate floors and beamed ceilings. There's a big fireplace with a woodburning stove and an old clay oven, which is unusual.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. You can bring one dog.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden and a BBQ, and you park right there. The cottage backs onto a farm field, so you'll see sheep or cows sometimes.
There's a pub half a mile away. The nearest shop is three miles, so you'll want to bring your food with you.
You're about two miles from the Camel Trail. That's a long, flat track for walking or cycling that goes from Padstow right out to Bodmin Moor.
Padstow is four miles away. That's got the harbour and boat trips. The coast is close. You can drive to lots of beaches and coves within about five or ten minutes. Trevose Head and its golf course are nearby.
For days out, the Eden Project is about a twenty-five minute drive. The Lost Gardens of Heligan are a bit further, maybe thirty-five minutes. You can also get to Newquay itself in under fifteen minutes.
Inside, it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
