Lily
The cottage is called Lily. It's on a site called Woodland Retreat, just outside Wadebridge in Cornwall. It's a modern build, one of a few similar ones on the resort.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's handy. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The main living area is open plan. Patio doors open from there onto an enclosed garden. There's a table and chairs out there. Inside, there's a sofa, a TV, and the usual kitchen things.
Upstairs, the main bedroom has a spa bath and a sauna. They're in the room itself, not a separate cabin. It's a nice feature if you want a soak or a sweat.
The resort has shared facilities. There's an indoor pool, a gym, and tennis courts. You can use those. There's parking right outside the cottage and an electric vehicle charger if you need it.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which helps.
For things to do, you're in a good spot. Wadebridge is a few minutes' drive for shops and pubs. The Camel Trail is right there for walking or cycling. Padstow is about a 15-minute drive. Newquay and its beaches are about half an hour south.
