Game Larder Cottage is up on our farm just outside Washaway. It's detached, so you've got your own space. You'll see us going about the farm work sometimes, but it's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, without being over the top.
The layout is good if mobility is a concern. There's a wet room on the ground floor and the entrance and doorways are level. There are grab rails in the right places.
You've got a patio with a BBQ, looking out over the land. There's a games room in an outbuilding with a pool table. There's also an electric car charger now.
The farm track leads straight into some decent woodland walks. You don't need to get in the car straight away.
For shops and a proper meal out, you'll want to drive. Bodmin is about ten minutes one way, Wadebridge about ten the other. Padstow is maybe twenty minutes. That's where the good restaurants and the harbour are. Polzeath beach is a similar drive.
Further along the coast, Port Isaac is about half an hour. Tintagel Castle and Boscastle are a bit further. Newquay, for the surfing, is around forty minutes.
In terms of what's here: everything on the list is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.
