Wallhouse Barn
This is Wallhouse Barn. It's on Bodmin Moor, near Blisland in Cornwall. It's detached, with its own little road in across the moor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. One of the bedrooms is a double with a mezzanine level. The stairs up from the living room are proper granite steps, so they're solid but you need to watch your step.
The main room is big and light, with high ceilings and doors out to a decked patio. It looks over a small paddock. The kitchen has slate floors. It's a converted barn, so the layout is a bit unusual, but it works.
You can walk straight out onto the moor from the gate. The views are very good. For shops or a pub, you need to drive about three miles to Blisland.
The north and south coasts are both about ten miles away in different directions, so you can choose. Padstow is roughly half an hour by car, and Fowey is about the same. Bodmin itself is closer, maybe fifteen minutes.
It's a quiet spot, so it suits people who want that. You get two dogs if you want them. There's parking right there.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair. There's a BBQ in the garden.
