The Roost
The Roost is one of three cottages here at Sandy Barn. It's detached and looks out over the fields. You're on the edge of St Breward, which is up on Bodmin Moor. It's quiet, just a few other buildings around a courtyard.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got the 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and everything works. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. It's open plan downstairs.
The lane to us is private and a bit narrow in places, just so you know. There's parking right outside and an electric vehicle charger.
You can walk to the village shop and the pub in about five minutes. The pub does food.
You're right on the moor here. Good walking straight from the door. By car, Trebarwith Strand beach is about 20 minutes. Padstow, Port Isaac, Boscastle are all within half an hour. Tintagel Castle is about 25 minutes away.
Further afield, the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are about a 40 minute drive. Lanhydrock, which is National Trust, is about the same.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and a TV. We include all bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Dogs are welcome, we take up to three.
