Dovecote

This is Dovecote. It's in Tresinney, near Camelford, on the edge of Bodmin Moor. It's part of a group of cottages converted from old farm buildings.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable. You can bring one dog.

The cottage is on one level, which is good for accessibility. There's a wet room with a walk-in shower. It's open plan inside. You've got your own patio and garden area to use.

The setting is quiet and rural, with lawns and trees around. There's a shared games room with a pool table and table tennis.

The north Cornish coast is about a ten minute drive away. Port Isaac is close, that's the Doc Martin village. Padstow, Boscastle, and Tintagel Castle are all within half an hour. You can walk a stretch of the South West Coast Path from any of those spots.

On the moor side, you can just walk out from the cottage onto Bodmin Moor. It's rugged and empty up there.

A bit further afield, you can get to the Eden Project or Lanhydrock House within about forty minutes. Camelford itself is a mile and a half away for shops and a couple of places to eat.

Facilities are all listed, but to highlight: wifi, TV, washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
