Purlinney
Purlinney is in Trebarwith, on top of the cliffs. You can see the beach from here. It's one of three cottages together, converted from old farm buildings. You get your own bit of garden.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. The floors are slate and the ceilings are beamed. There's a big fireplace with an old bread oven in the wall. It's from the 15th century.
The cottage is on a working farm. It's quiet, but you'll hear farm noises sometimes. The coast path is right there, so you can walk straight out. Trebarwith Strand is the beach down the hill. It's good for surfing when the tide's right.
Polzeath and Rock are about ten minutes by car. Boscastle and Tintagel are maybe fifteen minutes. The castle at Tintagel is worth a look. The Eden Project is about forty-five minutes away.
There's a local pub a walk away, but the nearest shop is a mile and a half. You get parking, WiFi, a washing machine, TV, and bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
