Fishermans Cottage is in Port Isaac, right by the harbour. It's a small old cottage on Middle Street. The front door opens straight onto the lane.
It's a 3 Star place. It sleeps four, in two twin bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's atmospheric, but you should know it's compact. The rooms are small, with low beams in some places. The stairs are narrow and steep. That's just how these old cottages are.
You're right in the middle of the village. The harbour and the beach are about a hundred yards away. The pubs, cafes, and the house they use for Doc Martin are all on your doorstep. There's a Co-op at the top of the village for groceries.
A big plus is the parking. You get two parking spaces included, about a two-minute walk from the cottage.
For getting out, the South West Coast Path goes right through Port Isaac. The walks along the cliffs are fantastic.
Within about half an hour you can drive to places like Tintagel Castle, the Eden Project, or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Padstow and Boscastle are close by too.
Facilities are straightforward: electricity is included, there's a TV, WiFi, and bedding and towels are provided. No pets, sorry.
