This is Meadwell. It's one of three cottages on our farm, near Trebarwith Strand in Cornwall. You're up on the cliffs here, so the views are good. It's very quiet.
The cottage is for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. The ceilings are beamed and the main floor is slate, so it feels solid. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You've got your own enclosed patio area with a table. The farm is working, so you might see the tractor going past. It's a proper farm, not a show one.
Trebarwith Strand beach is down the hill. It's a good surf beach when the tide's out. The coast path runs along the cliff edge right by the property. The walk to the beach is steep in parts.
There's a shop about a mile and a half away. The local pub, the Port William, is at the bottom of the hill by the beach. They do food.
Other places nearby: Polzeath and Rock are about a twenty minute drive. Tintagel and Boscastle are about fifteen minutes in the other direction. The Eden Project is roughly three quarters of an hour away by car.
For facilities: there's a TV, wifi, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
