Rosefern
Rosefern is a detached house. It's in Tintagel, up the hill on the way out of the village. It was finished at the end of 2022, so it's all new. Everything has underfloor heating.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. Two double beds and two twins. One of the bathrooms is on the ground floor. The whole place is wheelchair friendly, or just easier if you don't like stairs. The main living space is open plan.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. You can bring up to two dogs. We include all the bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV, parking. We've also got a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them.
In the village, you've got a few shops and cafes, and a couple of pubs that do food. You can walk down to the coast path from the house. Tintagel Castle is about a 15 minute walk. It's an English Heritage site. The views are spectacular, whether you care about King Arthur or not.
The nearest beach is Tintagel's Castle Beach, which is rocky. For sand, you'll want Trebarwith Strand, about a 30 minute walk along the coast path. Bossiney is closer by car. The whole coastline here is owned by the National Trust, so the walking is excellent.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Boscastle, which is a pretty harbour village. Crackington Haven is a good beach for families. Port Isaac is about 25 minutes south. Padstow is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Bude is about 20 minutes north, they've got a great sea pool and more sandy beaches.
