Well Barn is our place in Tramagenna, near Camelford. It's a converted barn, quite old and listed. It's detached, at the very end of a quiet lane in a little hamlet. The other houses are lived in, so it's quiet. You get the garden to yourselves, it's south facing with a table.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The conversion kept a lot of the original features, so there are stone walls, beams, and slate floors. It's warm, but it is a barn, so the floors are hard and it can feel a bit cool even in summer. The shower is good.
It's well placed for the north coast. Port Isaac is about ten minutes drive. Tintagel and Boscastle aren't much further. For a beach day, Trebarwith Strand is about fifteen minutes. The Camel Trail for cycling is easy to get to from Wadebridge or near Bodmin Moor.
There's a shop a few minutes down the road in Camelford. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. You can park right outside the barn.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: TV, wifi, a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if needed. Sorry, no pets.
