Chy An Dour is a lodge in Davidstow, Cornwall. It's detached. You've got gardens at the front and back, both with seating. The river runs past the bottom of the garden.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. Upstairs, there's a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. The two upstairs bedrooms have sloping ceilings with beams.
The living space is all open plan: kitchen, dining area, and sitting room. Doors open straight out to the garden. We've left a stairgate, cot, washing machine, and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. The WiFi usually works fine.
You can bring one dog. The gardens are enclosed.
Bodmin Moor is about a ten minute drive away. It's good for walking. The coastal villages like Boscastle and Tintagel are about eight miles. Bude is to the north, Padstow is to the south. Both are within a 30 minute drive.
For local information, the National Trust Cornwall site is useful, as is the Cornwall National Landscape page.
