Ash Tree Cottage is on our sheep farm, Broad Langdon, near Crackington Haven. It's a single-storey place, converted from an old stable. You get your own little walled garden and patio. It looks out over the fields and our fishing lake.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Everything's on the ground floor, no stairs to worry about.
The garden is fully enclosed. We've had all sorts of dogs here and it's been fine, but if you've got a real escape artist, you'll want to keep an eye out.
The farm's here if you're interested. The kids can feed the pigs and ponies. There's a play area and the lake if you fancy some fishing. It's a working farm, so you'll see us and the sheep about.
Crackington Haven is about five miles away. It's a good beach. Pebbles at the top, then sand when the tide goes out. The surf can be very good there.
You're well placed for the north coast. Bude and Widemouth Bay are to the north. Boscastle, with its harbour, is to the west. Tintagel Castle is about eight miles. They've put in a new footbridge which makes the visit a lot easier.
The South West Coast Path is right there for walking. You can pick it up at Crackington or Boscastle and just go.
In the cottage, you've got a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We allow up to two dogs.
