Mowhay Barn
Mowhay Barn is part of Great Trevillian Farm up at Broad Langdon. It's a working sheep farm, so you'll see the sheep in the fields. The place sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. There's a wood burner for colder evenings. The patio garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've brought dogs. We allow up to two.
On the farm itself, there's a kids' play area and a stocked carp lake if you fancy a bit of fishing. The owners are about and they're happy for you to say hello to the Kune Kune pigs and the ponies.
Location wise, you're a few miles inland from Crackington Haven. It's a good beach, with sand when the tide's out and decent surf. Bude is to the north, Boscastle is west along the coast. Tintagel Castle is about eight miles away. They've put a new footbridge in there, which makes getting across a lot easier.
Facilities are what you'd hope for. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right there.
