This is Little Whiteleigh. It's a cottage for two, down a quiet lane in Week St Mary. It's detached, but it's on the same bit of land as our house. You're on your own though, we're just next door if you need anything.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable but not a fancy show home. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. Outside the front door there's a little patio that gets the sun, with a table and chairs.
The cottage is in about six acres of our land. It's just fields and trees. Very quiet.
The village shop and the pub are about two miles away in Week St Mary itself. They're good. The pub does food.
The coast is about six miles. Widemouth Bay is the nearest beach, it's sandy and surfers go there. Bude is a bit further, maybe nine miles. That's where you'll find more shops, a few restaurants, and the castle. The coastal path there is very good.
For a day out, Tintagel is about twenty minutes by car. Port Isaac and Boscastle are a similar distance. The Eden Project is roughly forty minutes away. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are both within an hour's drive if you want proper open spaces.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's an enclosed garden bit so they can't wander off. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot in the cupboard if you need it, parking right outside, and WiFi.
