Trewin Court is one of a few cottages on our farm. It’s on the Cornwall side of the River Tamar, near North Tamerton. The place sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well equipped.
You've got your own garden. There’s a big shared field out the back with a play area for kids, which is handy if you're bringing small ones. We've got some pet kunekune pigs and chickens on the farm, which people seem to like. You can walk down to the river from here, and there are fields nearby for dog walking. We can take up to two dogs.
The cottage has a wood burning stove. It's open plan downstairs and gets good light. The stairs are standard, not too steep. All the bedding and towels are included. There’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. We've also put in an electric vehicle charger.
It's a proper working farm, so it's quiet but not silent. You'll hear animals, and tractors sometimes. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away. The shop is three miles.
Bude is the main town nearby, about ten miles. That’s where the surf beaches are. The upper reaches of the Bude Canal are within walking distance if you fancy a stroll. For a day out, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coast and cliffs around there. If you go into Devon, Dartmoor is within a 30 minute drive.
We're in the Tamar Valley, so it's good for walking and fishing. It’s rural. You'll need a car.
