Nuthatch Barn is in Derril, a hamlet in north Devon. It's a single-storey barn conversion, one of three cottages here at Little Derril. It's next to Stonechat Barn, and our farmhouse is opposite. It’s peaceful and good for a quiet week away.
It sleeps two, one bedroom with an ensuite shower room. It's a 4 Star property, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. Doors open from the living area onto a small, enclosed garden. There's a wood burning stove for the evenings. You can use the fields around the barns if you fancy a game of something.
It’s good for dogs, and up to two are welcome. There’s parking right outside.
A pub that does food is about half a mile away. For a shop, the small town of Holsworthy is two and a half miles. They've got a Co-Op and a few other bits, plus a golf course and an indoor pool. The coast at Bude is about eight and a half miles, so a fifteen minute drive. Bude has a sea pool, a castle, and some decent beaches.
From here you can get to the coast path, Crackington Haven, Clovelly, and places like that within half an hour or so. The Tamar Lakes are nearby for water sports. For a bigger day out, the Eden Project is about an hour's drive.
Inside there's a TV, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed.
