Nuthatch Barn is in Derril. It's a small, single-storey cottage that sleeps two. It was done up a few years ago. We live in the farmhouse opposite.
It's got a wood burner, which is good for cooler nights. The living room doors open onto an enclosed garden. It's not huge, but it's private and you can eat out there. There's a patio area with a barbecue.
There's one bedroom with a shower en suite. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
You're welcome to bring dogs, up to two. There's a field you can use to let them run about. You can walk from here directly onto footpaths.
The nearest pub is about half a mile down the lane. It does food. Holsworthy is the nearest town, about two and a half miles away. It's got a Co-Op, a butcher, and a few other shops.
Bude is the main place people go. It's about a fifteen minute drive. Good beaches there, and a sea pool. The coast path is accessible from here if you fancy a walk.
Further along the coast, you've got places like Crackington Haven and Clovelly if you want to explore. Tamar Lakes is nearby for water sports. If you're cycling, National Route 3 runs past the end of the lane.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, and a TV.
