Sandpipers is one of three cottages next to our farmhouse in Derril. It's an upside-down house, so the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the living area is upstairs. That means the main room gets good light and looks out over the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been properly looked after.
You've got your own enclosed garden. There's also a field you can use for a kickabout or to let the dogs run. We allow two pets.
The village pub in Pyworthy is about half a mile away. They do food. Holsworthy is the nearest town, about two and a half miles. It's got a Waitrose, a leisure centre with a pool, and a golf course.
Bude is fifteen minutes in the car. Good for surfing, has a castle, and plenty of places to eat. The Tamar Lakes are close by for fishing and walking.
The North Devon coast is about eight miles. Most of the beaches around here are dog friendly, though some have seasonal restrictions for part of the day. The South West Coast Path is spectacular if you like walking.
Inside, there's a TV and DVD player with some old DVDs, a few books and games. The sofas are leather. Facilities include WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair and stairgate if you need them.
