Holemoor Cottage
Holemoor Cottage is in Bridgerule, Devon. It's a wing of our 17th century farmhouse, down a quiet lane with electric gates at the top. You get your own bit of the house.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable. The stairs are original, so they're a bit uneven and steep.
The main thing is the private indoor pool and hot tub. They're just for you, so you can use them whenever. The heating is on year-round.
There's a sunny patio with a barbecue that looks onto the fields. We see a lot of wildlife here, like barn owls and deer. It's quiet.
We leave you a cream tea and some basics for when you arrive.
The location is good for north Cornwall and Devon. Bude and Widemouth Bay are about seven miles away for the beach and surfing. The Tamar Lakes are nearby if you want to walk, cycle, or fish.
For a day out, you can drive to Tintagel, Clovelly, or the Eden Project, all within about half an hour. There are family places like The Big Sheep nearby too.
The local shop and pub is a mile and a half away. It's a short drive.
In terms of what's there: all the bedding and towels, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, a cot and highchair if needed. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
