Well Farmhouse
Well Farmhouse is one of five cottages here on the farm, in North Tamerton. It's the biggest one.
We're just over the border from Devon, on the Cornish side. It's quiet country lanes and fields around here. The Bude Canal runs nearby for walks. A proper rural spot.
The house sleeps eight across three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It has a four star rating. It feels like a farmhouse.
It's got an open fireplace in the living room, which we lay for you. There's a private garden that's part paved, part lawn. You can park right outside.
You're welcome to bring up to two dogs. There are fields on the farm to let them run. We also have chickens, and some kunekune pigs that you can see. The river Tamar is at the bottom of the land if you fancy trying for trout. You need your own rod licence.
The farm is a working one, so sometimes there will be tractors. We have an electric vehicle charger if you need it. There's also a games room and a play area for kids, which are shared with the other cottages.
The village pub is about a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is in Holsworthy, a three mile drive.
For the coast, Bude is about a twenty minute drive. Good for surfing and family beaches. The closest one is about ten miles. You're also within easy reach of the north Cornish coast with places like Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven.
Inland, Dartmoor National Park is about half an hour's drive. Bodmin Moor is a similar distance the other way. For days out, National Trust Cornwall has good information on local houses and coastline.
Facilities included: bedding, towels, a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, stairgate, and WiFi. There's a BBQ you can use.
