Well Farm Cottage is in North Tamerton, on the Cornwall side of the river Tamar. It's part of a working farm with a few other cottages and a glamping pod around a courtyard. You're surrounded by fields.
The cottage sleeps six. It's got two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well equipped. It keeps a lot of its original character, with beamed ceilings and a stone fireplace. The kitchen is galley style, so it's narrow but it has what you need.
You can walk dogs in the fields here. There are pet kunekune pigs and chickens on the farm that you can see. The upper reaches of the Bude Canal are a short walk away for a stroll. The river Tamar is on the farm's boundary if you fancy a picnic spot.
For the coast, Bude is about a 25 minute drive. It's got surfing beaches and the canal itself. The nearest shop is in Holsworthy, about three miles. There's a pub a mile and a half away in the village.
This is a good base for the area. You're between Cornwall and Devon. Dartmoor is about 45 minutes to an hour's drive. The Tamar Valley is right here, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Tintagel and Boscastle are within 45 minutes.
Facilities: you've got a private garden, parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. There's an electric vehicle charger. There's also a shared games room and a kids' play area. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
