Green Valley Retreat
Green Valley Retreat is a bungalow near Holsworthy. It's all on one level, which is good if you don't want stairs. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It sleeps six and has a 4 Star rating.
The garden is nice. A set of patio doors open directly onto it from the living area. There's a spot to sit outside.
Holsworthy town is a couple of minutes away by car. There's a shop about a mile away. The local pub is a short walk, maybe 350 yards. They serve food.
The coast is about a ten-mile drive. Widemouth Bay and Bude are the main beaches that way. Bude has the surfing and the town stuff.
If you fancy inland water, Tamar Lake is 15 minutes away. You can hire paddleboards or kayaks there, or just walk around it.
Within about half an hour you can get to some good places. The RHS Garden Rosemoor is lovely if you like gardens. Bideford is 25 minutes away, and you can get the boat to Lundy Island from there. Bodmin Moor is about 30-40 minutes, and Dartmoor is a similar drive the other way.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect. A kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a breakfast bar. The living room is open plan. TV and WiFi are included. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets allowed.
