Walnut
The Walnut is one of five lodges here at Thornbury Park. It's a detached lodge, so no one attached to you. You get your own patio area, and it looks out over the fishing lakes on the property. The view from the sitting room is mostly water and trees.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, but it's not a luxury hotel. The layout is open plan.
The lodge is in Woodacott, near Holsworthy. It's very rural and quiet here, proper countryside. The site has about eight and a half acres of land with meadows and nature trails you can walk around. There are fishing lakes right here if you've brought your gear.
You're about four miles from Holsworthy, which is the nearest proper town for shops. The coast is a drive, maybe twenty-five minutes to Bude or Westward Ho!. There's a lot to do within half an hour if you want it, like the Tarka Trail for cycling, or Tamar Lakes for watersports.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. There's a cot if you need one. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's a small play area on site for children.
