Walnut
This is Walnut, on Thornbury Holiday Park near Woodacott. It's a detached lodge, one of five. The main thing is it looks out over the fishing lakes.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star lodge, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
You've got your own patio area. The site is about eight and a half acres of meadow with walking trails around the lakes. You can fish in the lakes if you want. There's a kids' play area on site too.
The park is in Ruby Country, so it's quiet. Holsworthy, the nearest town, is four miles away for shops. The coast at Bude is about 13 miles.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Tamar Lakes for watersports, the Tarka Trail for walking or cycling, and family places like The Big Sheep. Dartmoor and Exmoor aren't far. The Eden Project is about an hour away.
It's got a washing machine, TV, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need it. You can bring one dog.
