Willow
This is Willow. It's a detached lodge on Thornbury Holiday Park, near Woodacott in Devon. It's one of five lodges, all set around a fishing lake.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and modern. The main view is over the lakes. The site has about eight and a half acres of meadow with nature trails. You can fish in the lakes if that's your thing. It's very quiet.
You're about four miles from Holsworthy, which is a market town with shops. The coast is a bit further, maybe a twenty minute drive to somewhere like Bude. There are a lot of beaches along that north Devon and Cornwall coast.
If you're planning days out, the National Trust has a lot of places nearby. The Tarka Trail is good for walking and cycling. The Tamar Lakes are close by for watersports. For something bigger, the Eden Project or Dartmoor are within an hour's drive.
It's a good spot if you want peace and quiet, or if you like fishing. You can bring up to two dogs. The facilities are all there: dishwasher, washing machine, TV, parking. Bedding is included. There's a cot if you need one, and a kids' play area on site.
