Ratherton House
Ratherton House is near Chasty in Devon. It's a big detached house set on a decent amount of land. It sleeps twelve, with seven bedrooms and six bathrooms. Most of the bedrooms have their own shower room, which is handy with that many people.
The place has a five star rating. It means it's well kitted out and comfortable. There's a tennis court and an outdoor swimming pool you can use. The garden has a play area for kids.
Inside, it's been done up to be light and modern, but it's still an old house. That means the ceilings are high and the rooms are spacious, but you'll find the odd quirky step or doorway. It's just how it is.
Holsworthy is about a mile and a half away. It's got shops, a supermarket, and a leisure centre. There are a few good pubs and places to eat around that distance too.
For the coast, Bude and Widemouth Bay are about ten miles. Good for surfing and beaches. Tamar Lakes is closer if you want water sports, fishing, or a walk. For a day out, the Eden Project is within an hour, and so is Dartmoor.
Things here: plenty of parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Sorry, no pets.
