Ratherton House
Ratherton House is near Chasty, which is in Devon. It's a big, detached house. It sleeps twelve people in seven bedrooms. Six of those have their own bathroom.
It's got a five star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The place has been updated but it still feels like an old house.
Outside, there's a garden that wraps around the house. There's a play area for children, a tennis court, and a swimming pool. The pool is outdoor, so it's only open in the warmer months.
It's in the countryside. Holsworthy is about a mile and a half away for shops. There are a couple of pubs and restaurants about the same distance.
For beaches and surfing, Bude and Widemouth Bay are ten miles away. They've got all the usual seaside things. The Tamar Lakes are close by if you want to fish or try some watersports.
There are a few big attractions within half an hour. The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are adventure parks for kids. For gardens, there's RHS Garden Rosemoor. The National Trust has several properties in the area too, like Arlington Court.
If you want to go walking, Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moor are all within an hour's drive. You can also get to the Eden Project in about forty-five minutes.
Inside, it's got Wi-Fi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and TVs. Bedding and towels are included. They provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking on site. Sorry, no pets.
