The Little Barn
The Little Barn is a converted barn near Quoditch. It's detached and set back from the road, so it's quiet. The views are over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. One has a kingsize bed and doors out to the garden. The other has a bed that can be a double or two singles if you let us know in advance. Everything is on one level. The floor has underfloor heating.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and living space. There's a wood burner. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and fridge-freezer. There's a separate utility room with a washing machine, another freezer, and a toilet.
Outside is an enclosed garden with a stone chip area and some furniture. You can park right there.
There's a public footpath beside the property. It follows a stream down to Ashmill and Ashwater, where there's a shop and a pub. For a proper day out, Dartmoor National Park is about half an hour's drive east. It's good for walking if you don't mind hills. Dartmoor National Park Authority has walking routes.
The coast at Bude and Widemouth Bay is about a 30 minute drive. Good for surfing. Holsworthy is closer, about eight miles, for supermarkets and a weekly market.
It's a 4 Star property. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but the garden is stone chipped.
