Rose Lodge is part of Springfield Meadows, a group of six lodges on some land near Halwill Junction. It's a detached cabin, and you've got your own decking area outside. The main thing here is that it's quiet. There are a few fishing lakes on-site if that's your sort of thing.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's a comfortable, modern standard. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about. It's also wheelchair accessible at the entrance.
The place was new for 2022, so all the fittings and furniture are recent. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. We accept up to two dogs.
Halwill Junction village is about half a mile down the road. There's a shop for basics, a post office, a chippy, and a pub. For a bigger supermarket or more shops, you'd drive to Holsworthy. That's about seven miles.
You're well placed for getting out. Roadford Reservoir is about a 20 minute drive. You can walk or sail there. The north Cornwall coast, like Bude and Widemouth Bay, is roughly 17 miles for surfing or beaches. Dartmoor's about 45 minutes to an hour's drive if you fancy that.
