Rose Lodge Halwill Junction

Rose Lodge is one of six lodges on a site here at Springfield Meadows, near Halwill Junction. It's detached and looks out over fields and fishing lakes. We've got about fourteen acres in total, so there's plenty of space.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern and warm. It was built in 2022.

You get your own patio with a covered deck area. It's a good spot to sit. You'll see a lot of wildlife around the lakes, like herons, buzzards and kingfishers. You can fish in the lakes if you want to, it's included.

The village, Halwill Junction, is about half a mile away. It's small. There's a shop, a post office, a fish and chip shop and a pub. For a bigger supermarket, you need to drive to Holsworthy. That's about seven miles.

Roadford Reservoir is about a twenty minute drive. You can walk there, or sail. There's a cafe by the lake. The north coast around Bude and Widemouth Bay is about seventeen miles away. That's where the surfing beaches are.

Dartmoor National Park is maybe forty minutes by car. It's good walking country. Dartmoor National Park has maps and information.

As for the lodge itself, it has a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. It's wheelchair accessible from the parking area into the lodge and through the main living space.

You can bring up to two dogs. If you're coming with a bigger group, you can book other lodges nearby. We've got a mix that sleep four or six.
