Primrose Lodge
Primrose Lodge is one of six detached lodges on a site near Halwill Junction. It’s on 14 acres of land with three fishing lakes. The views are over the lakes and fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped. The lodge is all on one level, which is useful. There’s a covered deck area with furniture.
The site is quiet. You’ll see a lot of wildlife here. Buzzards, barn owls, sometimes deer. The local village, Halwill Junction, is about half a mile away. It has a shop, a pub, a fish and chip shop, and a post office.
For a bigger shop, Holsworthy is about seven miles. They have supermarkets there. Roadford Reservoir is a 20 minute drive. You can walk there, or sail. They have a café by the lake.
The north Cornwall coast is about 17 miles. Bude and Widemouth Bay are good for surfing and long sandy beaches. Dartmoor National Park is within half an hour’s drive if you want proper moorland walks.
Facilities wise: it’s got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There’s a cot available if you need one.
